The children of the Foundation

Over the past 28 years, the Foundation has developed seven Sherpa cultural projects in the Everest, Solukhumbu and Makalu valleys (renovation of mills, chörtens and monasteries). Most importantly, the foundation has helped educate 40 orphaned children whose fathers died during Himalayan expeditions.

In 2024, we still support the education of 10 children/students.
